WHAT ARE CARDIO BOXING CLASSES?

Looking for a great resistance cardio workout that focuses on your core? Ready to learn the basics of boxing? Boxing Bag classes at Final Round offer a perfect combination of a challenging workout with expert instruction about the techniques used by professional fighters.

I’M NOT A FIGHTER. COULD THIS BE FOR ME?

The only contact in our Boxing Bag classes is with the heavy bag, so they are great for men, women, teens – the whole family! It’s not only a great way to stay in shape, it’s a great way to challenge yourself and learn new skills.

WHAT HAPPENS IN A BOXING BAG CLASS?

You’ll need to have your own gloves, wraps, and shoes. We have loaner gloves and wraps if you would like to use them. Each class combines fitness and technique, with most of the focus on fitness. Beginning with a 15-minute warm-up, which includes a total body circuit, you’ll go through eight three-minute rounds on the heavy bag with combinations led by the instructor, with one-minute active rest breaks between rounds. The last 10 minutes of the class focuses on core and abs. So you’re learning technique while you’re throwing actual boxing combinations.

WHAT BENEFITS CAN I EXPECT?

Let’s face it, punching a bag over and over again is sure to get your heart rate up. Circling the bag helps you stay agile. More than that, the awesome workouts designed by our expert instructors will help you develop speed, coordination, and endurance.
